Music

Pupils are actively involved in the promotion of music and the enjoyment of music throughout the Academy and within the community of Stone. It is hoped that music will be seen as a central, lively and fulfilling area of the corporate life of the Academy. In addition to classroom music across the Academy, exciting extra-curricular activities, a varied range of peripatetic instrumental tuition and, of course, extremely enthusiastic singing in assemblies, help to create a special place for music within the whole Academy curriculum.

We are proud to say that the music department at Christ Church Academy has  been nominated, and supported financially by Entrust Music Service, Staffordshire. They have recognised the value that we place on music and have requested that we become a Music Mark School Member.  They have recognised that pupils at our school are able to access and engage with a high-quality music education.

Music Mark works to enable its members, and the wider music education sector, to deliver high-quality musical and social outcomes for all children and young people. This is something we are very proud of here at Christ Church Academy and will continue to promote.
