Year 5 pupils were treated to a careers visit from a special visitor. Animation skills are a key part of our Computing curriculum as it teaches not just computer drawing techniques but the importance of sequencing and planning.
Daniel's business Carse & Waterman are an animation company based in Stoke-on-Trent that employs local students in the tech centre. Two classes were treated to videos and discussions about how animations are made for businesses and about local careers in the tech industry. The pupils loved this session and are looking forward to using some of these ideas in their future creations.
