School History
The school was built in 1935 as the Granville Secondary Modern School and became Christ Church Middle School in the 1976. In 2011, the school was one of the first in the county to convert to Academy status and since then it set up a multi-academy trust called The Key Educational Trust comprising of Christ Church First School, Oulton First School and Christ Church Academy.
