First Robotics Team are going to London
Robotics Club are going to London!!!!!
For the last four months a groups of our year 8 pupils have been building a very special robot. On Tuesday 4th February the CCA Robotics team ‘Hephaestus’ took part in their first regional competition at RAF Cosford. Out of 21 teams only 8 made it through to the finals and our team was one of them. The team also won a special ‘Connect Award’ for their innovative robot design and outstanding portfolio which was presented to them on the day.
I would like to say congratulations to all of the pupils in team Hephaestus!! Your amazing team work and dedication is inspiring. The finals will take place at the Copper box arena in London, on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th March. We will continue to develop the robot in readiness for the finals!!
