French Trip 2022
I am writing to confirm that I have now received all final payments and that the booking has been confirmed with PGL.
I would like to invite you and your child to a Parents’ meeting on Monday 9th May 2022 at 6:30pm in the school hall. The meeting should last around 40 minutes and will be an opportunity to hear final arrangements for the trip, meet accompanying staff and ask any questions that you may have. There will be a lot of important information given at the meeting so please bring a pen and paper so that you can make notes. If you are unable to attend the meeting, if possible, please arrange to send your child with a friend’s family so that they can hear the important information first hand. Please complete the attached form (link below) to confirm your attendance by Monday 28th April.
In order to help you to prepare for the trip in the meantime, I have included some useful information below.
Please note that this is still only proposed at this point and may still be subject to change.

We will arrange for spending money to be handed into school nearer the time of the trip. Spending money will be distributed to children daily.
Please be reminded that copies of all passports and EHIC/GHICs should be sent to Miss Richardson in the finance office at firstname.lastname@example.org for checking. If you are still awaiting your documents, please do this as soon as you receive them. We will arrange for the actual documents to be sent into school nearer the time of the trip.
Current COVID Requirements (subject to change)
Vaccinated travellers – you will be required to send proof of vaccination status in PDF form (available via the NHS website) to email@example.com. Please note that the bar code is only valid for one month and therefore cannot be sent before 27/4/22.
Unvaccinated travellers – you will be required to send the result of a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours or an antigen test result taken within 48 hours pre-departure to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note you should not use the NHS testing service to get a test in order to facilitate your travel to another country.
