Trip to Stafford Gatehouse Book Show
On Tuesday 24th September 2019, the present Year 5 children have been invited to a fascinating morning with two very special authors at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre where they will be able to listen to the fascinating stories of Skylarks’ War and Waffle Hearts come to life through dramatic readings and bubbling conversation!
The purpose of the trip will enable children to interact with real life authors whose books the children may very well be reading at this moment in time. With plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to listen to live readings from the books, this event will help inspire a young audience with the joy of reading.
As this trip will involve transportation and entry to the book show, we kindly ask for a payment of £11 per child.
In order to fully support those who are in need we can offer some financial help with this educational trip. This support is available to pupils who may be in need including those in receipt Pupil Premium. If you would like to be considered for some financial support please contact Mrs Thorn in school either by phone or by email email@example.com. All requests will be treated with the utmost confidence and respect.
If you would like your child to attend the trip, please fill in the slip below and return to the finance office. Please make payment via Parent Pay by the 12th July 2019.
Thank you for your continued support
