Y5 Prince and Pauper New Vic Theatre
26th September 2019
In order to broaden the learning experiences of our students and support the curriculum they will be studying in English, we would like to offer your child the opportunity to see a live play at the theatre.
The Prince and The Pauper will be showing at the New Vic Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent on Monday 16th December. The pupils will be studying classical fiction in various forms throughout Key Stage 2, and for this reason, we would like to take all, or as many as possible Year 5 students.
The cost of the trip is £18 per student (including travel). The play starts at 2.15pm, we will be leaving school at approximately 1.15pm and returning at 5.30pm (traffic permitting).
Children will have the opportunity to purchase snacks and refreshments for the theatre interval and this form will be sent out separately to this letter.
If you would like your child to attend the performance, please make a payment via ParentPay and give your permission for them to attend the trip, by Friday 18th October.
In order to fully support those who are on pupil premium we can offer some financial help with this educational trip. If you would like to be considered for financial support please contact Mrs Thorn, in school, either by phone or by email firstname.lastname@example.org. All requests will be treated with the utmost confidence and respect.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
