3rd March 2017
Dear Parents and Carers
As you will be aware OFSTED visited the Academy on 15th February 2017. The two inspectors observed lessons, looked at pupils’ books and met with pupils, senior staff and governors. They also scrutinised a wide range of documents and policies as well as the online parent questionnaire responses and reviewed the school website.
I am very pleased to announce that they have made the judgement that ‘this school continues to be good.’
As an Academy we are always striving to ensure that all our pupils achieve the best they can and it is gratifying that Ofsted have recognised the wealth of good practice in the school.
A copy of the Ofsted Report is on our website and will be published by Ofsted by the 7th March. Hard copies are available from the main school office.
I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and look forward to building upon the many strengths in this report on our journey to outstanding.
Mr CM Wright
