Changes to Full Written Reports
I am writing to explain some of the changes we have made this year to the full written reports. In the past parents received an interim report at the end of the winter and spring terms and a full written report at the end of the summer term.
Following feedback from previous reporting cycles, we have decided to make the following changes:
All Year groups will receive an interim report.
Year 5 and Year 8 will receive a written report
Year 6 and 7 will receive a second interim report
Year 5 and Year 8 will receive a second interim report
Year 6 and 7 will receive a written report
This means we will be able to offer written support to Year 5 half way through their first year and feedback to Year 8 before they leave in the summer so they have time to work on their development points.
Parents of children in Year 6 and 7 will have the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress at Parents’ Consultation Evenings and will receive full written feedback following SATs and our final assessments, thus enabling them to work on development points as they move to their next year in the Academy.
